These talented artists from this gorgeous rural setting come together to showcase and sell their art. Workshops are held throughout the year for members by prominent teachers. They come together to paint, catch up, learn from each other, and enjoy what they love to do in an environment that is relaxed and user-friendly.
As an extra treat, this gallery space is also located with the Woodford Historical society. On display In the very heart of the building, one of the most beautiful representations of the coming together of the arts and history lies with the painstakingly detailed, hand-built replica buildings of the original Woodford township.
Look at the world through the eyes of an artist:
Artwork helps express a community’s values and creates an elevated sense of awareness for community members and visitors. Group activities engage audiences and artists, encourage and promote cultural development in many forms and contribute to a dynamic and vital community.
Arts-based engagement can promote cooperation, awareness of local issues and the reduction of social isolation, all of which contributes to a shared sense of community pride and identity
