Watercolour with a difference

Pat Hall

“I am a passionate gardener and my paintings are inspired by the textures, colours and dazzling sunlight of Australian gardens and bushland. I flood my stretched paper canvases with colour before sealing them in a UV stabilised and waterproof coating. The images remain vibrant and accessible without being hidden behind glass; breathing new life into the medium.”

Pat was born in Kent, England. After immigrating to Australia in 1991 she worked as an illustrator for many years and now paints and teaches from her home studio in Clear Mountain.

If you have a favourite subject I would love to discuss with you a commissioned piece to suit your size, colour and price specifications.

The Experience

Visiting a working studio:
Meeting an artist in their studio allows you to connect with them on a personal level. You can ask them questions about their work, their process, and their inspiration. This can give you a deeper understanding of their art and how it came to be.

Seeing an artist’s work in their studio can give you a unique perspective on their art. You can see how they work, what their studio is like, and how they interact with their art. This can help you to appreciate their work even more.

In addition to these benefits, visiting Pat Hall’s art studio is a great way to support a local artist. By purchasing one of her paintings, you are helping to support her career and her ability to continue creating beautiful art.

If you are looking for a unique and inspiring experience, I highly recommend visiting Pat Hall’s art studio. You will not be disappointed.

When you are next looking at a piece of art, take the time to imagine the process, the time, the experiences the artist may have had to get to this point. Art is always more than what you see befor you.
