1. Dahmongah Lookout Park just past Mount Mee(heading North) is a beautiful spot with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the Glass House Mountains.
2. The Gantry in Mount Mee is another great spot for a picnic, with a large grassy area and picnic tables. Though it can get quite busy, there is always ample space to spread a rug. wheelchair access (may need assistance) MORE INFO

Just like our art, Tawny Trails offer a variety of experiences that appeal to different interests and fitness levels.
– The Piccabeen Walk is an easy 1km loop through a beautiful mix of eucalypt and subtropical rainforest, usually taking 20-30 minutes
– The Somerset Trail is a 13km class 4 walk through open-forest, pine-forest and pockets of rainforest usually taking no more than 3 to 4 hours
– The Rocky Hole is a Rock pool only accessible via 4WD. Though a gorgeous spot, it can get quite busy. Best for an early morning or late afternoon dip. MORE INFO
1.Ocean View Estates Picnic in the vines. The winery not only has ready to go picnic package options, but award winning wines to go with them. MORE INFO
2. Bulls Falls if you are up for a little rock scramble, and love shallow rock pools and wondering rocky creak beds this one is for you. Not as busy as Rocky hollow, and you can wonder further up the creek if you are after something more private. 2WD with clearance to parking area, 1km return walk, facilities at the Gantry.
3. Elsie Crane Park Ocean View. If you prefer a secluded spot and love taking scenic back roads that weave through lush green mountains this one is for you. Picnic table with shelter, closest toilet at Ocean View Estate Winery

2. Henry Bradley park Nick named the Shady park, at the cnr Laidlaw and Dowing st. Sth Dayboro. picnic tables and chairs, Toilets
2. Apex Park On the Right Just before Dayboro at the North pine River Bridge leafy green park, Toilets, BBQ’s sheltered table and chairs. Head right down the back under the big trees. Access to the water here and under the bridge
3. Kobble Creek is just before Dayboro is a grassy recreation area at Lake Samsonvale. You can enjoy a picnic or fish from the shoreline if you have a permit. (Closes facilities are Apex Park)

– Postman’s Track Trails is a 7km long trail with gorgeous views and a moderate challenge for cycling & walking. Horses trail riders also use this track. The track is split into two marked trails Blue (the easier section) and Red (more hills), with a White trail shortcut joining the two.

– Rainforest circuit is a relatively easy 2km walk through lush Subtropical Rainforest usually taking around an I hour to complete
– Greenes Falls track is a 4.3km walk Suitable for most ages and fitness levels, through lush verdant forest, featuring crystal-clear pools, strangler figs, abundant wildlife and a small cascading waterfall. usually taking around 2 hours.
– Phoenix Sculpture Garden a short walk through a world of exquisite sculpture nestled amidst the lush rainforest of Mount Glorious MORE INFO
